Also, switching to classic editor should help in case when Linguix does not appear in the text area.
Multiple WordPress themes and plugins are using iFrames, which makes it hard for the app to get into the text area. Try switching to the plain text mode or access the WordPress via /wp-admin page to fix the issue.
